Ford Focus RS500

A hotter version of Fords hot-hatch. And no, you still can’t have it.
345 HP and 339 lb-ft of torque. Both boosts over the standard car. Sadly since this small amount of info and the pictures were leaked ahead of an official launch, we don’t know what else improvements have been made over the standard car (all will be revealed tomorrow, the 31st actually).
More power is nice, but THE biggest change? That sinister looking matte-black paint scheme. I love matte-black. I’d paint ALL the cars I own in the future in matte-black, if I could afford it.
In case you were wondering, the 500 in RS500 stands for the amount being produced. As the plaque above states. Because limited edition plaques are just cool like that.
And of course, if you live in the US, you can’t have one. Is it any surprise? Of course not…
As always, credit goes to Autoblog! And check back tomorrow for more official stats. If I feel like it…
