O Hai There Aventador…

You look QUITE sexy in white. And not just any ol’ white, matte white! Yes I know, matte is the new black and already is on the verge of being played out, but come on. Matte paint in general is awesome, and I think matte white is the best of the flat.

So Aventador, in my quite unrealistic dream, I would be ticking the boxes on the order form for the bianco canopus exterior paint with the terra semele + nero ade interior.

….oh sorry, just woke up. Excuse me while I go clean this bianco canopus mess out of my pants.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante

Words are not needed for this one, but I’ll try anyway. Oh my god! I’m in love all over again. The current LP560-4 is still my favorite supercar, but I was never really blown away by the Superleggera version if I’m honest. This spyder version though, wow. I’m in love. Sure, the hardtop is probably faster and all, but come on. You don’t buy a Lamborghini for lap times, you buy a Lamborghini for lap dances! Lambos are supposed to be insane show-offs, and how could you get more showy-offy than a convertible lightweight supercar!? Even the name is sexy, just say it with me (in an Italian accent): “Spyder Performante”. Oh god. How much do I want this in my life? Well, let’s put it this way: I’m wondering how much I could get for my left-leg, or a kidney. Because I don’t need either of those to drive this car…

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento: is GO!

Yeah, so remember a couple of months back when I posted about the insane Lamborghin Sesto Elemento concept car? I remember saying that I doubt this wild car would ever see the light of production as is. Well, it turns out I might be wrong!

The 570HP, 2200 lbs car has apparently received the green-light for “limited” production from the big-wigs at Lamborghini. And when they say limited, they mean 10 units. Remember the crazy Murcielago-based Reventon? Yeah, think of this like that, except a Gallardo-based hyper-car. Sure, the expected cost is probably going to be in 7 figure range, but it still warms my heart knowing the world will be a slightly better place now that we’ll have 10 of these carbon-Lambos running around. I wonder if Top Gear’s gonna get a hold of one…

HelluvaRides I Show

I’m lazy, so short post. As I mentioned in my other post about our Shrimp Cruise, one of our stops was the HelluvaRides show taking place at Ward Warehouse, benefiting the Lokahi Foundation. There were some awesome cars, of course none more awesome than this might Italian Stallion pictured above. Gallardo!

Check out the beast friend of the blog Eseer shot on the freeways of LA! The greatest bull of them all (for now anyway)! Sure, the Carrera GT I saw earlier in the week is probably rarer, but I’m a HUGE Lambo fan-boy, so I’d much rather see one of these! Which is convenient, because there’s supposed to be one at the FHB International Auto Show I’m attending tonight. Can’t wait for that!!
